STUDENT RECITAL OPPORTUNITIES

From  time  to  time  I  organise  student  recitals  to which  parents  are  invited.

This  gives  pupils  a  chance  to  play  on a  beautiful Steinway grand  piano  and  experience  the  delight  of giving music  for  others  to  enjoy.

It is also a sociable occasion!

Participation is optional!

Our next recitals will be:

31st May 2020; 'Preparation for Exams' recital

21st June 2020; 'Beethoven recital and appreciation afternoon'

SUMMER SCHOOL

During the summer holidays, I offer the chance to attend a summer school. This takes place in the afternoons of one week.

The summer school gives pupils the opportunity to play ensembles with other students, and sometimes to engage in drama skills.

It also provides a platform to learn elements of music with group resources.

There is a final day performance to which parents and guests are warmly invited!

Please visit the YouTube channel to view this year's performance!

This year's Summer School is scheduled for 20 - 24 July 2020 from 1400 - 1700. The theme this year is 'The Carnival of the Animals' by Camille Saint-Saens. The concert will take place on 24 July.

All children age 6-15 who can play an instrument (even at beginner level) are welcome to apply.

Bookings are now being taken! Please contact me if you are interested!

EXAMS

Exams are optional!

The goal is to enjoy playing and not feel pressurised to perform or to be examined.

If taken, pupils are entered for the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) exams.
